## Career Opportunity: Electrical Technician at PT Pertamina Training & Consulting
PT Pertamina Training & Consulting is currently seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join its technical team as an Electrical Technician. This role is critical to maintaining the operational integrity of our refinery infrastructure and requires a proactive individual committed to safety and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance and reliability of electrical systems within the refinery area. Core duties include:
* System Maintenance: Executing preventive and corrective maintenance aligned with maintenance plans, work orders, and strict operational instructions.
* Troubleshooting: Performing rapid and accurate diagnostic procedures to resolve electrical faults.
* Inspection & Reporting: Conducting routine inspections, identifying equipment abnormalities, and documenting technical findings to provide actionable recommendations to supervisors and engineers.
* Operational Readiness: Managing the commissioning, start-up, and inspection of critical electrical hardware, including motors, panels, MCC units, switchgears, transformers, cabling, lighting, and grounding systems.
* Technical Compliance: Interpreting complex Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and technical schematics while ensuring all activities strictly follow SOPs, Permit to Work (PTW) systems, and HSSE regulations.
Professional Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Nationality: Must be an Indonesian Citizen.
2. Educational Background: Minimum of a High School Diploma (SMA/SMK).
3. Experience: At least 3 years of proven professional experience in electrical equipment maintenance.
4. Technical Proficiency:
* Expertise in coupling and uncoupling gearboxes for electric motors.
* High level of proficiency in using specialized electrical measurement instruments.
* Strong analytical skills for effective and safe electrical troubleshooting.
* Comprehensive understanding of electrical drawing interpretation (Single Line Diagrams).
* Solid grasp of fundamental electrical equipment principles.
5. Logistical Requirements: Must be a resident of Balikpapan or the surrounding areas.
6. Employment Status: Willing to be engaged as an Outsourced Professional (Tenaga Alih Daya/TAD).
